CAT APPROVED! The work that Green-R Turf did came out amazing. It’s even cat approved! Gage came out to take measurements of my area and I provided him with my ideas I had. He made my SketchUp become a reality exactly as how I envisioned it. They added the turf and retaining wall. I also asked him to add cement. I did have a problem with the cement guys finishing the job and covering up my water valve to my sprinklers.. However I informed Gage and he had them come back out and break the concrete up, fix the area where my water valve was with a bigger can and poured new cement. I was very appreciated for that. Over all experience was great. I’d definitely recommend. 2 years later and my turf still looks great!!

Artificial Grass & Pavers Landscape Services

Redefining your outdoor living space often involves selecting the right surface material for patios, walkways, and other paved areas. Two popular options are concrete and pavers.

Aesthetics & Design Flexibility:

Pavers: Offer a wide range of colors, shapes, and patterns, allowing for great customization and a higher-end look. Think natural stone, brick, or concrete options that can be arranged in various patterns to create unique designs.

Concrete: While traditionally more uniform, concrete can be stained, scored, or stamped to resemble the look of other materials, such as stone or wood. However, this often comes at a comparable or higher cost to pavers.

Durability & Longevity:

Pavers: Generally more durable than concrete slabs, as they are rated to withstand up to four times the pressure. Their interlocking design allows for minor ground movement without cracking. They can last for decades with proper maintenance.

Concrete: Durable, but prone to cracking due to ground settling and temperature changes, especially in areas with freeze-thaw cycles. Repairs are complicated and often involve replacing the entire slab.

Installation & Repair:

Pavers: Installation is more labor-intensive and time-consuming as each piece is placed individually. However, repairs are easy – damaged pavers can be individually replaced, and the surrounding area remains undisturbed.

Concrete: Installation is quicker as the concrete is poured in one go. However, repairs are more complex and costly, potentially requiring complete replacement if the damage is extensive.

Cost:

Pavers: Typically have a higher initial upfront cost compared to standard concrete slabs, ranging from $10 to $30 per square foot installed. However, long-term costs may be lower due to more straightforward repairs and increased durability.

Concrete: Standard concrete slabs are generally more affordable upfront, costing between $4 and $15 per square foot installed. However, decorative options like stamped concrete can increase the price to be comparable to pavers.

Other Considerations:

Safety: Pavers are non-slip and provide better drainage. Concrete can become slippery when wet and may produce a glare.

Environmental Impact: Pavers allow water to permeate, which is better for the environment.

Maintenance: Both require similar maintenance, such as cleaning and sealing. However, pavers are generally easier to clean and repairs are less noticeable
